Community Outreach

Provide Healing Experiences.

Transform your community one life at a time.

Foundation Partners Group (FPG) has a passion to “provide healing experiences for the community.” Throughout the year, Foundation Partners’ locations host hundreds of outreach programs throughout the communities they serve. Every outreach, seminar, and workshop is offered free of charge and open to the general public, regardless of whether or not they were served by an FPG firm.

At FPG, we believe in providing personal interaction and support to those who are both hurting and healing within the community. Last year alone, Foundation Partners’ locations nationally hosted 244 Community Outreach events, which were attended by 11,250 community members. We work with our compassionate Partners and our skilled Team Members to create unforgettable event experiences.

The goal of every outreach program is to build community relationships through compassion and generosity.  It allows our funeral homes to create a bigger local presence, while building loyalty, creating special memories, and providing compassionate care to the entire community.

When creating outreach events, details matter. From personal phone invitations to coordinated social media marketing campaigns, FPG helps their funeral homes reach the community and build their reputation simultaneously. Outreach turns the community members our Partners did not serve into faithful participants who come back regularly and tell others about the great experiences they have had.

We also support our Partners as they build their public relations efforts by becoming a respected resource to local press, informing them about upcoming events. The earned media is simply one more way our Partners stand apart within their communities.

FPG current outreaches include workshops, seminars, and remembrance events focused on grief education for the bereaved, support for bereavement caregivers, as well as celebratory events within the community unrelated to grief or loss.

Following are three of the main components to our Community Outreach program:

  • LifeSteps™…stepping forward, remembering always Healing Outreach is a unique five-week outreach that takes place at educational facilities throughout the communities that FPG locations serve. Topics for the course provide useful knowledge to assist with personal wellness, safety, financial security, travel, and healthy eating. LifeSteps was created to help individuals move forward in their lives after the death of a loved one.
  • Toolkits - Foundation Partners provides each of their Partners with toolkits for 30 plus tried and true Community Outreach programs.  The toolkits are blueprints that assist an event organizer from pre-event to post event with all the fine details in between.
  • Community Events - FPG hosts hundreds of events throughout the year to honor and remember the lost and the bereaved. A few examples include a Mother’s Day Dove Release, a Father’s Day Balloon Release, Pet Loss workshops, Celebration of Life gatherings, veterans’ outreaches, butterfly releases, and workshops for bereavement care givers. FPG also holds other community events, such as Easter egg hunts and charity picnics.  Following is a brief list of three of the many ways our Partners reach out within the community:
    • Charity Events
FPG charity picnics are an example of one charity event created to benefit established non-profit organizations that are already in our Partners’ local communities. FPG firms come alongside designated charities and helps fund them through “picnic events” held in the funeral home’s memorial park.  In turn, a tremendous number of community members visit our Partners’ memorial parks annually, a significant number for the first time.
    • Veteran Appreciation and Memorial Events
A significant part of Community Outreach includes special memorial events for our veterans, such as the “Champions of Freedom” Appreciation Luncheon and Memorial Day events. Honoring veterans is a priority in FPG’s Community Outreach efforts.
    • Support Groups
Another component to FPG‘s aftercare and outreach program is building groups of support for those living with loss.  Two examples of this include the Scrappy Angels Community Quilt Group and the Health Matters Walking Club. These groups are created to help community members work through their personal grieving process.

Foundation Partners reaches out in serving local communities, while simultaneously building awareness for our Partners and helping them create a positive presence within the communities they serve.
