Orlando, FL - Foundation Partners Group, a leading provider of innovative funeral, cemetery and cremation experiences and products, has announced the acquisition of Healey Mortuary and Crematory in Salinas, California. The acquisition of the firm expands Foundation Partners' network on California's Central Coast to six locations.

"We see in Dave Healey and his team the qualities we value in a company, including their strong commitment to anticipate the changing needs and expectations of the families they serve," said Bob Bukala, Foundation Partners' President and CEO. "This is a strong acquisition for us as it allows us to add the leading funeral services provider in Salinas, while continuing to build our presence along the Central Coast."

"We are very excited to join forces with Bob and the team at Foundation Partners," said Dave Healey, owner of Healey Mortuary. "We believe Foundation Partners has the right cultural fit for our business and our staff. We look forward to working with them to continue to deliver exceptional and compassionate care to our families while introducing innovative new services like the ShareLife® multi-sensory experience."

Healey Mortuary was founded in 1956 as Salinas Valley Mortuary by Dave Healey's parents, Herb and Joyce Healey. As the business expanded, it was renamed Healey Mortuary and under Dave and his sister Margaret's leadership grew to become the premiere provider of funeral services in the area.

"Healey Mortuary enjoys an outstanding reputation in the Salinas Valley and is a wonderful addition to the Foundation Partners family," stated Erin Whitaker, Vice President of Business Development at Foundation Partners. "Foundation Partners and Healey Mortuary are a natural fit as we share the same desire to provide the highest level of personalized service to those we are privileged to serve."
