JIM PRICE

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT &
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

James D. Price grew up with his father and grandfather in their family owned funeral home in South Carolina, where he began his love of serving families in their most difficult time of need. Jim later served in key management positions in funeral home and cemetery organizations including Operations Vice President for Pierce Brothers Funeral Homes and Cemeteries in Southern California; and Southeastern Regional Vice President for Prime Succession, Batesville, Indiana. Jim also held the position of President and CEO of Bonney-Watson Funeral Homes and Washington Memorial Park, a large, regional independent funeral home and cemetery operation in Seattle, Washington. Prior to co-founding Foundation Partners Group, Jim was the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Co-founding Partner of Keystone Group Holdings which grew from zero to approximately 214 funeral homes and cemeteries.

Jim is a Certified Funeral Executive (CFE) and Certified Cremation Executive (CCrE), with a degree from the California College of Mortuary Science, Los Angeles, CA. where he obtained his license as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of California. Jim also holds a National Board of Funeral Examiners Certification. In addition, Jim is a board member of ICCFA (International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association), a member of NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association of America), as well as CANA (Cremation Association of North America, member of the Death Care Management Council. Jim is currently serving as a member of The Center for Ethics, University of Tampa Advisory Board.
